I'll ask this the best way I know how:
1.) I'm paying for 10 down/.7 up mbps. via ADSL2+
2.) Routine connection is 11.775/0.892. Rock solid/ no CRC errors!
3) For months now connection rate changes periodically to 15.1/1.xxx
4.) Problem? Sometimes in hours or days DSL connection WILL DROP drop at the "overprovisioned" or call it what you want, connection rate.
5.) Sometimes dropped DSL will recover on its own, but most of the time I have to call in.
6.) Pair to outside connection at house AND my equipment inside in tiptop shape. No issues.
7.) What I can't figure out is why, why a few extra mbps downstream causes havoc eventually, eventually to the DSL signal/connection?
8.) Is there some limitation with the "Zyxel C1100Z"?
9.) Estimated Loop Length: 4144 feet
Nobody at CL seems in rush to fix this problem. Thanks for any help.
