I had some issues with connectivity yesterday so had CL roll a tech to look at it. I was wondering if it might be my C2000t modem but it turned out to be a bad wire at the NID. DSL2 was off/slow/intermittent. BUT it did get me thinking that I should have a back up modem and thought I'd approach you all in case I really should be getting a different modem as back up or to use as primary while I put the C2000t on the shelf. BTW, the tech confirmed what I suspected, I'm screwed for ever getting faster speeds until someone decides to install a DSLAM closer (loop length 8800' and 7800' shown on modem page). Thanks for any wisdom to share.
