Hi all,
I am moving into a new house in Rio Rancho, NM (former U.S. West/Qwest). The CenturyLink website says the location has 120 mbps service available. Supposedly the upload is 10mbps (I called CL and the kid on the phone was totally clueless, but finally said it was 10 mbps after lots of fumbling).
The site says "advanced fiber technology" and "tech install required." I'm guessing that means its FTTN and a bonded 60/5 VDSL.
CenturyLink's compatible modem page seems to be outdated - what modems will support 120 mbps bonded VDSL besides the C3000A and C3000Z? Would I be better off just buying the CL modem (which I am guessing is the 3000Z?). I'll want to use it in bridge mode so I can use my own router/firewall.
Thanks!
