I'm in rural Clay Co MO west of Kearney, MO. A month or so ago CL ran fiber down our highway and I've been watching the install proceed. The pictures attached show a DSLAM that was put in this week (on the back of the rack). Good news for me is it’s only about 1000 ft. from my house. They are installing these all over in this area looks like this is part of CAF. I currently have 5mbs with CL but rarely see that.
I’m wondering about the size of the rack it’s mounted on. Does this look like they might be allowing for expansion to add more DSLAM’s or something else? Other pictures I’ve seen show single boxes like this just mounted on a post. I also included a close up of the DSLAM.
