I was excited to get this service here in Omaha, NE because we have been raped by Cox for many years. Raising prices and poor service. I had service hooked up on July 3rd with a Temp line in my backyard that they said would be gone in a few days. On July 5th called cutomer service to get help to get my account setup to get email address to utilize the feature Prism on the go. They could not do this as my account was in pending status, and I needed my first bill to be able to set this up and I would have to wait. I emailed their corporate email support, which claimed a response of 24 to 48 hours. ha.ha. On July 15th I get response saying I don't have to wait for bill that I could contact customer support and I should have email address assigned at time of service install. I contact customer service again, and after 2 hours of being on hold several times and transferred many times they tell me my account was created wrong and the only people that could fix this were closed. They assured me that they would have someone fix this and to give 24 to 48 hours and I should be able to get email by going through process outlined. 2 days go by and still no response from the email replies I have sent to them, so I call again tonight. They tell me that my account is still locked by a person named Brad and he does not answer his phone and no one can do anything to fix it. The internet service is fast, but if you are not lucky and have everything just right don't expect any resolution anytime soon.
