Hello everyone, first time member of the forums (have visited a few times for many years). I live in the Renton Highland area in Washington and learned my home is eligible for 80 MB/s DSL speeds. Currently I have 40 MB/s speeds. A tech was out at my home last Friday, good news he can enable a 2nd line to pair bond up to 80 MB/s up to the DMARC outside the home. Bad news my home doesn't have a junction box inside (where internal phones/coax can be accessed/serviced inside the home) - tech stated in should be a in storage closet. The home was built in 2009, I've never seen one in my home. Had tech check crawl space, no go. According to the tech he has to enable the 2nd line to pair bond (40 x2) to get the rated 80 MB/s at the junction box. Since we cannot locate one, or know there is one I had the tech cancel the work order. The tech told me he was a bit surprise and not common to have a home without a "junction box" inside for phone/coax. Am I stuck at 40 MB/s for DSL? Would I have to switch to cable (which would be Comcast)? Is there any way for CLink to enable 80 MB/s at the home's DMARC?
