I originally posted this issue here, but have yet to receive any reply. https://secure.dslreports.com/forum/r28352839-netopia-3347-02-100Q-Dropping-Connection-For-Some-Not-Most
The DSL modem is reporting too many open sessions and just started doing this suddenly over the past 3 weeks where Internet connectivity drops for only a handful of people, but not the majority of clients on the LAN. This isn't virus or botnet related. I've already thoroughly scanned all clients behind the network and any infected clients typically result in a walled-garden from CenturyLink. CenturyLink's call-in support wasn't very helpful. At one point the Internet light was completely out on the modem, yet the majority of clients had a connection. During that time, the CenturyLink tech. couldn't access the Web UI for the modem, nor could I. Any help would be appreciated in determining the best coarse of action here. Not sure if the modem just needs to be replaced or what.
