Every now and then, I get down time that lasts about 5 minutes at a time. No idea what's causing it. PrismTV live tv viewing works fine during these outages, so it's not a WAN connectivity issue (at least, the problem doesn't exist at OSI layer 1 or 2.) I'm able to ping my own router, but nothing beyond that hop responds.
Anybody know what I might be able to do about it? I really don't want to call them to wait on hold forever (centurylink has VERY VERY VERY LONG hold times) with a dumb tier 1 person giving me some crap like "power cycle your router and see if it happens again."
