Permanent Exhaust??

For the past 6 months, I have been suffering slow speeds at peak times. I am provisioned for 4.0/512, however at night (after 6:00 or so) I do good to get 1.0 sometimes. First CenturyLink was to have this fixed by November 14, then by December 31, now, the last time I contacted someone, it is "permanently exhausted." I assume this means they are NOT going to fix the issue, and leave it as it is. I suppose all I can do is hope a bunch of folks don't pay their bill and get their service cut off. I cannot believe that they can do this, or that they would do this. I guess they are too busy wasting money in a couple of places in Omaha and Phoenix with their 1 gig BS to worry about a few hicks out in the sticks. I have filed a complaint with the attorney general's office, little good it will do I am sure. I think I will do one with the BBB too, not that anything will do any good. Before they merged with Embarq and acquired Qwest, CenturyTEL was an excellent company to deal with, now they are terrible, I absolutely HATE CenturyLink and wish they would sell the lines here to some other company. I don't even think AT&T would be as bad.
