[CenturyTel] Packetloss in Arizona
I live in Mesa, AZ and have been getting packet loss. This is impacting every service I use online, email, web surfing, video streaming, and gaming.
I have had a modem replaced and have had technicians come out. After doing a lot of my own extensive testing it appears the issue is not in the "last mile" but rather from one of the servers/switches/routers at a central office. Here is the data I have gather from running ping tests for a few hours to Google.com:
Target Name: google.com
IP: 74.125.224.163
Date/Time: 4/19/2014 9:45:25 AM to 4/19/2014 11:05:29 AM
Hop | Sent | Err | PL% | Min Max Avg Host Name / [IP]

8 | 4805 | 8 | 0.2 | 32 109 32 lax02s01-in-f3.1e100.net [74.125.224.163]
As you can clearly see the packet loss appears to be originating on Hop 4, los-edge-05.inet.qwest.net [67.14.22.106]. According to google this is somewhere in Kansas.
Is there anyone from that investigate this and report this to engineers that work at this facility?
I cannot imagine I am the only one suffering from issues due to this.
