I live in old Embarq area.
I currently have 2 dsl lines -- both at 6Mbps down 512k up. Centurylink website says I'm at the max.
My current stats(down/up) on line 1 are SNR 11/21 Attenuation 43.5/24 Power 0/12.8 .
The c1000a reports
xdslctl info --state
Max: Upstream rate = 1012 Kbps, Downstream rate = 10384 Kbps
Bearer: 0, Upstream rate = 570 Kbps, Downstream rate = 7070 Kbps
What do you think the max my line could handle if CL was willing to up my speed?
About bonding:
I talked to tech support via chat and was told bonding is available in my area, but my speeds are too low to support it. What are the minimum speeds required to be eligible for bonding? Is this a technical limitation or a company limitation?
The chat person told me I'm connected to a Adtran Total Access 3000D/M DSLAM if that info is any help.
Also, does anyone know how I get xdslctl command info to work on a Zyxel 660R modem? I tried TELNETTing in and ran the command, but it wouldn't give me any info.
Thanks for any help you can provide.
