I have a tech coming tomorrow so hopefully this can be sorted out however in the mean time does anyone have any idea what could be going on? I have two 10/768 lines both were previously running flawlessly I have them balanced with a TP-Link TL-R470T+. I noticed on Friday I was getting extreme stuttering in YouTube videos and when I did a speed test I was getting about 2000-3000 Kbps combined on each line. When I tested them separately directly connected to the modem with no router each line got around 1000-1500.
My pings are fine, my stats are fine one line syncs at 11776 and the other 12800. My brother is on the same DSLAM as I am and he lives about 1/4th a mile from my home I tested his line and he's getting the advertised speeds. I tested directly at the NID with moth modems even though I have a home run for each line I wanted to eliminate variables, still no change.
I even had two separate modems I tried got the same sync rate as the CenturyLink modems yet still the same slow download speed. The upload is fine. I had no CRC errors, no packet loss, stable low speed, and my traceroutes look fine. At first I was thinking an oversold DSLAM until my brothers speeds turned out fine. I'm honestly stumped at what it could be and I want to be prepared when the tech comes tomorrow to offer things to check. Thanks in advance guys.
