My dad lives in a rural area served by Centurylink only. They recently installed several DSLAM's in his area due to CAF. They were supposed to install a DSLAM about 1/2 mile away but changed the location according to the local tech. and placed it 2 miles away. He signed up for 10/1 service but when the tech. came out, he stated he couldn't offer bonded service and ended up giving my dad 6/.6. The modem is a new 3000a so it's capable of bonded service. The single line is also terrible and he's only getting around 4 mb down. Doesn't CL have to provide 10/1 in areas such as my dads where they accepted CAF money?
