Just installed CL fiber 1g in Denver area dwnld speed typ. 250mbs

Just got CL 1g fiber. Best download speed so far is about 250mbs. Is this normal? CenturyLink supplied zyxel c3000z supplied modem/WiFi box. This morning tested 79mbs down. Rebooted and it tested 260mbs. Speed test.com. Is this normal? Todd Littleton CO
