Our router is overheating fairly often after a bit of research the router which was provided by centurylink has had many problems before with other customers revolving around the router over heating. the router is a c1100t, and probably going to replace it with a better model as often as ive been getting stuck with no internet the past 2 weeks ive been very irritated me and the account holder have talked about it on multiple occasions and ive gotten ahold of centurylink 3 times in the last two weeks wanting help to troubleshoot the issue then i looked up the router and noticed something this router dosnt have proper ventilation to maintain use throughout the day personally i think my grandma pays too much for internet when even being the only one on the internet i get a max download speed of 2mb/s on my pc which has a atheros 9000 series wifi adapter and new driver for said adapter so my question is what should i do about this and whats the best router centurylink provides as if i do call them again and tell them to replace a faulty modem/router id like to know whats the most reliable router centurylink can offer
