Hello everyone! I have been reading and researching replacing my centurylink C2100T with my Asus RT-AC88U. We have a fiber connection with 100/100 and prism TV. I'm in a HOA so we pretty much have no choice but to use the centurylink tv and internet service. I'm running an Asus RT-AC88U with Merlin Firmware 384.5. I can remove the centurylink C2100T no problem and plug my Asus router directly into the ONT and reach the internet without changing any settings. My ONT is on the exterior of the house and I do not have direct access to it. I am unable to watch TV on my set top boxes. I have read that all you need to do to enable Prism tv on this router is set IPTV profile to manual and internet VID to 201, enable IGMP Proxy and IGMP Snooping. When I do this however, I lose internet connectivity and see an error that states ISP DHCP server does not function properly. I'm very new to networking, so I must be missing something somewhere. Does anyone have a workaround or will I have to go ahead and go back to the C2100T as my primary router? Any help would be appreciated. Thank you!
