Welp, I was chatting with centurylink technical support and they told me that there was no difference between ADSL and ADSL2 and ADSL2+. Right before they told me that I asked about the line transmission tech and they said it was LCTL trasnport tech with ADSL. I aske if I could change from G.DMT to ADSL2 instead of the current ADSL and they told me it was the same. So...they insulted the shit out of my intelligence. Never trust this company!
I forgot to mention all Iasked for was information and honesty from them. They proceeded to tell me after a breef exchange about my router that it was incompatible, but its a Nighthawk 1900 AC with all forms of DSL technology and its rebranded by centurylink. I don't know why the hell they are lying soooo much. Anyone else know why?
