Could I have a yay or a nay on purchasing the D-Link DSL-520B for modem use only, with CenturyLink? Located in Boulder, CO. I understand it's not on CL's supported list but I have 12mbps ADSL2+ service with no possibility of upgrading further with CenturyLink, so all I need is something I can configure myself to connect PPPoE reliably, and cheaply. I may not even be able to stay with Centurylink due to potential permanent line issues--this means I don't want a router+modem combo anymore, they're too expensive (I don't trust used/refurbished much).
I would be using this in bridge mode behind a D-Link DIR-878. As I see it, I just need to set the same parameters in the D-Link that my Actiontec is showing and I should be fine?
Or are there extra parameters not visible in the Actiontec C1000A's interface that I need to know beforehand?
