Excellent CSR Service

As to much of what is posted here is, perhaps deservedly, in the form of complaints, I am going to relate my excellent service from earlier today: I had noticed that the Internet seemed to be running somewhat slowly, so I did a few Speakeasy speed tests; when those showed my DSL speed to be low I then ran a CenturyLink test, which was also below normal speed. I was just about to call technical support, when it occurred to me to check the modem status, where I found that my download speed was set to 12xxx KBPS instead of 20xxx KBPS. Having the information, I placed my call, and was promptly connected with a very friendly female CSR. I explained what I had found, she asked the usual questions to ascertain that I am who I am (I actually do know that...), and quickly noticed that a glitch had changed my DSL speed. She reset my DSL, and, as I was about to unplug the modem and reconnect it so that it would regain the DSL line and ISP connection, it did so on its own. The phone call probably lasted six or seven minutes, the CSR was very knowledgeable, competent, polite, friendly, and made me feel that my business was important to her company.
