The contractor for Centurylink has been installing fiber line (the big orange spools) on my highway and most of the county for the past six months. I currently only have 1.5 Mb\s DSL. Two Centuylink techs have told me they are rolling out 10 Mb\s to the area but no one can give me a time as when the job will be done. From what I can tell, the physical part of burying and connecting the line seems to be done or very close to it. Does anyone have any experience as to how long the whole process takes? I can't get anyone from Centurylink to tell me squat or give me a local contact who would. This slow speed is killing me and I'm very anxious for anything faster.
