We've been on Centurylink for a while. Started out with the DSL, landline, cell phones, and Directv with them. They managed to screw that up to the point where, one at a time, we pulled everything away but the DSL. That's the only thing we still have with them...
And, it's been OK. We had some discount that fell off, and the bill for basic, normal, 12MB/s DSL went from 19.95/mo to $46+. Called. Got a guy that was about as disinterested as possible.
Called back. Got a guy that could get it DOWN to just $38 + all the BS fees.
Called back. Got a different guy who could do 2 years for $25/mo + all the BS fees.
Anybody have a rational reason why there's such inconsistency with these people...
Even better, anyone got a good alternative that's less expensive than this? 'Cause I'd be perfectly happy to say goodbye if there's a better alternative here in sort-of southern MN...
