On Saturday a very nice young man came to our door and after listening to his sales pitch and the savings he quoted we decided to go ahead and switch to Prism. When the installation man came to the door today he informed us we had only ordered three boxes, (true) so we would only be able to watch 3 of our 7 TV's. if we purchase 7 boxes then we would only be able to watch 4 TV's at a time. We DID tell the salesman we had 7 TV's as we live in a very large home and he said NO PROBLEM! I spent my morning pulling 7 TV's out from the wall only to discover that we were misled by the salesman. Why would we want to buy 7 boxes if we can only watch 4 TV's at one time? I would not have 7 if we did not use all 7!! Needless to say we sent the installer away after this was explained to us the correct way. We were also told by the salesman that the installation would be free. Again, MISLEADING... the first three boxes were free and we would have to pay $160 if we wanted the other boxes installed and the price we were quoted the the salesman were also very wrong. We were quoted $140 per month which would have saved us $50 per month by dumping Cox. It ends up it would have cost us MORE money for less channels and no home phone. I still want to get rid of Cox but Prism will not get my business due to the mis leading salesman that was WRONG about the entire package. If you choose to switch to Prism I would suggest going to them directly and not agreeing to it with a stranger that knocks on your door. I will sale that the installer was very nice and explained everything perfectly however I need a service that allows our large family to be able to watch their TV's not just 4 at a time. BEWARE OF DOOR TO DOOR SALESMAN!
