Got the CenturyLink Prism TV and 1GiG in Seattle all setup. Was running great with a external ONT through their modem the Technicolor C2100T.
So I updated the firmware to the latest version off the Centurylink support.
However, yesterday ran a speed test and saw I'd dropped from 850 mbs down to around 300 mbs down. Went into the Administration page and decided to reboot the modem.
When it came back online the WAN link was connected, but internet kept hanging at Connecting. Looking at the System Log it looked like DHCP couldn't acquire a IP lease?
Now since I have Prism TV there's no PPoE credentials, so I have no idea why it's failing to authenticate. Anyone have ideas?
I've got a tech coming out in 4 days, but if I could solve this myself I'd like to. Seems stupid that you can't flash your modem and reboot it on your own.
