Hi all,
I've been a cable user for life (and still am), however at work we have CenturyLink DSL service at a remote office and an ancient modem that I'd like to swap with a newer one I have on the shelf (also a CenturyLink modem). With cable, I would have to call in and give them the HFC MAC, but I'm not sure what I have to do with DSL, can I simply plug in the new modem and it will come up or will I need to call in to support and provide serial/MAC for activation? Thanks in advance.
