Hey everyone--quick question...I've got Centurylink and have been relatively happy with it. I recently upgraded to 6 MB DL (about as much as I can get due to my distance from the origin) but I'm having trouble actually getting close to that. My router/modem (PK5001Z) is showing that it's getting 7.7 MB, but somehow it drops big time between ethernet and my laptop. Best I can do is around 2-3, with occasional 4-plus speeds showing up. Tried different ports, different cables, you name it. Using a new Belkin Cat 6 cable right now that should be zooming, but no go. Router/modem is literally right next to the laptop, so no distance issues. Any tweaks or suggestions?
