I upgraded from a 7M ADSL line to a 12M ADSL2+ line and I trained up at 12 for two days, now the modem will only train up at 10M
Does this mean CL has capped my line in the DSLAM at 10m?
SNR Margin: 20.8 10.3 db
Line Attenuation: 32.6 17.8 db
Data Rate: 10240 892 kbps
Max Rate: 23240 1064 kbps
Im going to connect the modem at the NID to see if the stats are any better. I have CAT5e running from NID to my modem...
Edit: I replaced my DSL filters at each phone with a single filter in the NID, upstream SNR looks much better as does the download Line Attenuation
SNR Margin: 20.1 15.1 db
Line Attenuation: 24.9 16.9 db
Data Rate: 10240 892 kbps
Max Rate: 21756 1192 kbps
So what Im wondering is the decrease from 12 to 10 an automatic adjustment the DSLAM is making based on line quality or is this manually programmed by CL?
